Job Overview

Are you looking for an incredible career opportunity? Then Meritage Homes is the place for you! Join our team as a Sales intern and learn about the home selling process, home buyer experience, and customer service while providing sales support for the division. You will work closely with internal business leaders to understand the homebuilding industry and gain practical experience in various functional areas. This internship will also involve participating in cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders, as well as presenting real-world recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry, Meritage's business model, and an assigned functional area such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, human resources, etc.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Meritage's core values and how they drive everything we do
  • Translate classroom knowledge into practical application during the internship
  • Participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders to address current business challenges
  • Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership to help shape our strategy
  • Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or another assigned topic
