Job Overview

Verizon, one of the world’s leading providers of technology and communications services, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Performance Intern. As part of Verizon's award-winning Campus program, you will have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects and gain real-world experience. In this hybrid internship, you will work from home and have assigned office days. This role may be based out of various locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in projects related to network performance optimization and management.
  • Work on projects involving 5G technology, AR/VR, computer vision, NFV, SDN, business analytics, programming, radio frequency design, data warehousing, and more.
  • Collaborate with V Teamers across the globe and build valuable relationships.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program and in good academic standing.
  • Available for a hybrid 10-week internship from June 3, 2024 to August 9, 2024.
  • Majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors.
  • Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (Python, Java).
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
