Network Performance Intern
Job Location
This hybrid internship may be based out of CA, GA, MA, NC, NJ, TX, VA, FL, IL, NY, or OH. If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available.
Job Overview
Verizon is offering a 10-week hybrid internship opportunity for students interested in network performance. As an intern, you will work on projects related to various areas such as 5G technology, AR/VR, network performance optimization, software-defined networking, business analytics, and more. You will have the chance to network with professionals, find mentors, and gain hands-on experience to shape your future career.
Compensation
The compensation for this position is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 10-week internship program from June 3, 2024, to August 9, 2024.
- Contribute to meaningful projects that deliver business impact.
- Collaborate with V Teamers and establish valuable connections.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and embrace new challenges.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Expected completion date between December 2024 and June 2026.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding, such as Python or Java.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
- Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
