Job Overview

At Crowe LLP, we provide college students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in our Digital Security team. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to assess and refine clients' information security posture, technology implementations, and regulatory compliance. This is not just a desk job – from day one, you will be in the field, working directly with our clients around the world. Compensation

The wage range for this internship takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. The estimated range is $25.00 to $38.00 hourly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist financial institution clients in transforming their governance, embedding risk in decision-making, and maintaining compliance
  • Impact client performance in the healthcare industry through data and operational analyses, new product development, and integration with other service lines
  • Assess and refine information security posture and privacy capabilities for Life Sciences clients
  • Help public sector entities improve performance and efficiency across financial management, operational efficiency, and information technology through ERP technology
  • Assist TMT clients in assessing and refining their information security posture, technology implementations, and regulatory compliance
  • Support, plan, and execute cybersecurity projects as a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Analyst

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel, mostly within the continental US with some international travel
  • Possess knowledge of Information Technology fundamentals, including basic network services, routing and switching, system administration (Windows & Active Directory and/or Linux/Unix), and database administration (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Mongo, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Information Security standards and concepts, such as risk management, system and application hardening, network infrastructure security, access management, security assessments, and security operations
  • Proficient in technical writing using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Passion for Information Security and a willingness to share knowledge and lessons learned with the team and the security community
  • Desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self-study, pursuit of technical certifications, and mentoring/training less experienced team members
  • Capable of independently managing time and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
