Experian's Summer Internship Program offers college students across the country the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in our global information services company. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for developing data software applications, platforms, and products. You will work closely with application engineers, data scientists, and CRM professionals to design, develop, test, and implement solutions. This internship program provides access to the latest technologies and challenging projects in the field of financial inclusion.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and education. This position is eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, an employee stock purchase plan, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.

Responsibilities

• Development of data software applications, data platforms, and data products.
• Collaborate with application engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and CRM professionals.
• Define engineering standards, perform data analysis and modeling, code development and review, testing, deployment, and agile management.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of data platform paradigms and software architecture.
• Entry to mid-level skills in Pyspark, Python, and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent proactive communication and planning skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Planning to return to school in the Fall of 2024 to continue or complete degree program.
