Compensation
- $22 minimum hourly wage
- $32 maximum hourly wage
- Paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
Responsibilities
As an engineering intern at Stryker, you will:
- Impact the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge products
- Gain experience within a fast-paced and growing industry
- Apply classroom knowledge in a real-world industry setting
- Implement new ideas, solve challenges, and develop your skills
Requirements
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
- Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm for constantly changing priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Desire for hands-on testing/troubleshooting of circuits
- Ability to document design decisions and create testing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
- Mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills
- Experience in design engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with circuit design layout
- Electronics troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with PCBA and CAD tools (OrCAD, Cadence, PCB Designer)
- Programming/simulation skills (C, C++, Matlab, Pspice, Simulink, LabVIEW)
