Compensation

  • $22 minimum hourly wage
  • $32 maximum hourly wage
  • Paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location

Responsibilities

As an engineering intern at Stryker, you will:

  • Impact the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge products
  • Gain experience within a fast-paced and growing industry
  • Apply classroom knowledge in a real-world industry setting
  • Implement new ideas, solve challenges, and develop your skills

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
  • Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm for constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Desire for hands-on testing/troubleshooting of circuits
  • Ability to document design decisions and create testing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
  • Mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills
  • Experience in design engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with circuit design layout
  • Electronics troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with PCBA and CAD tools (OrCAD, Cadence, PCB Designer)
  • Programming/simulation skills (C, C++, Matlab, Pspice, Simulink, LabVIEW)
