Job Overview

Verizon is offering a 10-week hybrid internship opportunity for motivated students interested in network automation. As an intern, you will have the chance to work on projects related to cutting-edge technology areas such as 5G, AR/VR, web application development, testing programs, UX design, and software development. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, contribute to meaningful work, and network with professionals across the globe. Compensation

40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects related to network automation in various technology areas including 5G, AR/VR, web application development, testing programs, UX design, and software development.
  • Collaborate with professionals across the globe and participate in meaningful work that delivers tangible business impact.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of your skills and knowledge in the field of network automation.
  • Follow the guidelines set by your manager regarding work location, which includes both work from home and assigned office days.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related majors with a completion date between December 2024 and June 2026.
  • Ability to participate in the 10-week hybrid internship from June 3, 2024, to August 9, 2024.
  • Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding, such as Python and Java.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
