Job Overview

Experian's Summer Internship Program offers college students across the country the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in our global company. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work alongside Experian employees, assisting in the evolution of marketing plans and performance. In this role, you will gather and analyze data to identify relevant trends, conduct secondary market research, generate insights, and propose solutions to grow market share. Collaboration with team members across Marketing and Sales will be essential.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and disability insurance, generous paid time off, an employee stock purchase plan, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.

Responsibilities

  • Help evolve marketing plans and performance by gathering data and analyzing relevant trends.
  • Conduct secondary market research, audit performance data, generate insights, detect profitable markets, create reports, and propose solutions to grow market share.
  • Collaborate with team members across Marketing and Sales.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related degree.
  • Returning to school in the Fall of 2024 to continue or complete degree program.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis/visualization tools like SQL, Tableau to inform decisions using data.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new concepts, technology, and industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral skills to collaborate with team members and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to summarize and communicate important data with attention to detail.
  • Solid organizational skills, including prioritization and time management.
  • Results and proactive solution driven - ability to think critically to overcome potential business hurdles to complete tasks.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity with capability to drive an independent workstream.
  • Basic understanding of business process and project management principles.
