Job Overview

MKS Instruments is seeking a passionate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Intern to support and enhance our Global DE&I initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and contribute fresh insights from a global perspective. You will assist in the development and implementation of key DE&I strategies globally.

  • Data collection, analysis, and reporting on DEI metrics and key performance indicators
  • Learning & Development to create, organize, and launch DE&I workshops, training sessions, and events
  • Review of company policies and procedures, suggesting modifications to ensure inclusivity
  • Researching best practices and emerging trends in global DE&I to provide informed recommendations
  • Internal Communication efforts to raise awareness and understanding of DE&I priorities
  • Support Employee Resource Groups with their initiatives and events

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 to $28.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.

Responsibilities

As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Data collection, analysis, and reporting on DEI metrics and key performance indicators
  • Learning & Development to create, organize, and launch DE&I workshops, training sessions, and events
  • Review of company policies and procedures, suggesting modifications to ensure inclusivity
  • Researching best practices and emerging trends in global DE&I to provide informed recommendations
  • Internal Communication efforts to raise awareness and understanding of DE&I priorities
  • Support Employee Resource Groups with their initiatives and events

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program for Human Resources, Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, or a related field
  • Demonstrated initiative, resiliency, flexibility, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in DE&I, social justice, or related areas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment
  • Able to work 40+ hours per week
  • Up to 10% of Travel is required
  • Qualified candidates should be US Persons
  • Relocation and temporary housing benefits may be available for this position
