Growth Marketing Analyst
Metro Vein Centers, the national leader in vein treatment, is seeking to add a killer Marketing Analyst to our diverse and growing team in New York City. This is a full-time, on site role.
You dream in numbers and have a love affair with SQL & Excel. You’re highly-trained and specialize in organizing and analyzing data from various resources, turning numbers into stories and visualizations in order to influence decision making. Naturally curious, you have a strong sense of urgency and love to focus on how your analyses can impact core business results. Oh, and you like to have fun.
Every day you’ll be ready to provide complex, detailed reporting and analysis of data including sales, customer behavior, promotion, and pricing. You’ll gather, compile, analyze, and present data and insights by market, facility, online, and source to understand performance and recommend improvements for continued growth. The right candidate should be able to build/manage an analytics database from disparate and multiple channels of data, as well as know how to summarize results and tell stories with data, both through dashboards and written communication. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Demonstrable SQL skills (intermediate) & Excel skills
Experience with Google Big Query is a plus
Data cleaning & ETL
Demonstrable experience with a scripting language (Python, R etc)
Provide analytics, reporting, and insights for campaigns and projects, ongoing results/tracking of KPIs, and ad hoc requests
Maintain tracking, trending and forecasting of performance (website visits, calls, applications, sales, revenue and ROI)
Analyze effectiveness of various marketing tactics including leads, applications, sales, and profitability trends and recommend improvements
Assist with annual budgeting
Perform marketing mix and attribution modeling and work with Marketing Manager to optimize marketing channels and strategies
Work cross functionally to understand and account for operational impacts to data
Create and execute tests to gain insights and enhance effectiveness of current strategies
Bachelor's degree or higher
2+ years’ experience as a Marketing Analyst
Data manipulation/reporting skills: SQL, generating reports, working with various data software
Analysis/strategic skills: Analyzing data and generating insights and recommendations, as well as creating corresponding presentations/executive summaries
Marketing data skills:
Analysis of marketing effectiveness - email, digital marketing (social, paid search, web data such as Google Analytics), TV, radio, etc.
Correlation and regression analysis of marketing campaigns and techniques, media mix modeling, marketing attribution
Expert in Excel
Moderate SQL: Joining multiple tables with multiple conditional statements, writing SQL scripts
Experience with BI and data visualization platforms
Experience working with marketing data platforms/databases and analytics platforms (Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift)
Comfortable with PowerPoint
Ability to work quickly and effectively on tight timelines
