Job Description

Jobe & Associates is a multi-discipline creative firm that provides creative services to our clients from 3 "idea channels."  Marketing/Communication, Special Events/Incentives, & Promotional/Premium Products .

We are looking for a new Web Designer/Developer with the goods…not only the ability to design/create/manage amazing web sites, but also someone to help grow our design team.

2019 is going to be a record year for our firm and we are looking for the right creative person to join our creative team.  We have a ton of web projects and need the right person sooner than later.

Web Designer/Developer:

Ideal candidate has a 4-year degree along with 5-7  years of experience and will have a strong working knowledge of web design/development along with an appreciation for key messaging and brand extension.

We want it all….someone who has great ideas and knows how to execute.

Our Web Designer will be able to generate ideas quickly, narrow the focus fast and design a project that will create a design lust for our clients.

Self-directed and confident, our Web Designer will have the ability to interpret the needs of the client and provide design solutions that far exceed their expectations.   We move quickly and need a web designer who can keep up and help set the pace.

Expert knowledge of the basics expected….Adobe Design Suite and word/excel.

We have many sites that were developed and we maintain in WordPress.  We’re open to other ideas, but an experienced- working knowledge of WordPress is a  must.

From an administrative perspective, ideal candidate will have working knowledge on how to procure domains as well as set up main and micro sites for our clients.

Understanding of data base management a plus

Have the ability to generate custom code that will make WordPress or another CMS do amazing tricks?…then please move to the front of the line.

Understanding of video production is considered something “extra” that would significantly help us 3-4 times/year.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, collaborate with other creatives from different disciplines and ability to work directly with the principal.  Vivid and clear written and verbal communication skills a must.

If you're the type of team member that needs everything completely explained up front and spoon fed every asset…we're probably not a match.

Do you have  the ability to review content, ask good questions, generate some idea-based solutions and then create an amazing site that hits the mark?  You might have a new place to call "home."

If we wanted to hire someone sitting in the basement in their underwear writing code, we would call my brother-in-law…we want a team player in our office, an expert that can clearly communicate with our team and our clients.

Please email resume, salary requirements and a portfolio link or pdf to:  newjob@jobeideas.com  Please address subject line as:  Web Designer/Developer Position.

Yes…we know and understand our own site needs help.  It’s on the list and we look forward to our new web designer helping in that process.
