Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts. Review and sort incoming applications, set up appointments, do phone and in-person interviews, assist with all applicant screening and hiring
  • Assist with new employee orientation and process
  • Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations
  • Compile reports from personnel databases
  • Review and update HR information system records
  • Enforce company policies, rules and regulations
  • Communicate all relevant information to employees and job applicants
  • Participate in training and development program
  • Participate in administration of health and safety programs
  • Analyze data

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources
  • General knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Honest, tactful, consistent and fair with all individuals
  • Maintain self-control and patience while dealing with employees and in stressful situations
  • Computer literate

Other:

  • Reports to Human Resources Manager
  • Work full shifts with possiblity of some overtime
  • Good attendance and punctuality
