If you want to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, a pharmaceutical internship could be just what the doctor ordered. You can intern anywhere that has a pharmacy, including hospitals, grocery stores, drug stores, or healthcare facilities. Additionally, you can pursue an internship in pharmaceutical research or marketing. As a pharmaceutical intern, you’ll work under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician, collecting and documenting data related to prescription and non-prescription medication, communicating with patients, and/or conducting research.
