Mission: Woodwell Climate Research Center (Woodwell Climate) conducts science for solutions at the nexus of climate, people, and nature. Intern Summary: The Woodwell Climate Research Center 2027 Summer Internship Program provides a comprehensive 11-week, hands-on learning experience in Falmouth, MA, offering speaker events with senior leadership and professional networking opportunities across operations and science departments. Key Program Details Compensation: Minimum wage $15.00 per hour (temporary, non-exempt) or equivelant Work Schedule: Full-time (typically 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
Duration: 11 weeks (maximum 90 days), starting June 2027. Work Formats: Onsite, hybrid, and remote options available. Participating Departments Operations Teams: Human Resources, Finance (Accounting, Sponsored Research, Grants & Contracts), Development (Fundraising), Policy and Government Relations, and Marketing & Communications.
Science & Research Teams: Carbon, Water, Arctic, Wildfire, Lab, Field, and general research opportunities.
