Roles:
Procurement Intern: As a Procurement Intern at LyondellBasell, you'll be an integral part of our Procurement organization, supporting initiatives through data analysis, process reviews, and problem-solving while gaining exposure to Strategic Sourcing, Operational Buying, and Procurement Administration. In this role, you'll help ensure LyondellBasell secures maximum value from goods and services by supporting sourcing strategies, contract compliance, and issue resolution efforts. You'll work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize costs, minimize risk, and improve procurement processes and outcomes.
Supply Chain Intern: As a Supply Chain Intern at LyondellBasell, you'll play a key role in supporting our dynamic Supply Chain organization. This role offers exposure to various facets of Supply Chain including Order Fulfillment, Pricing, and Logistics. You will engage in data analysis, process reviews, and problem-solving to provide valuable recommendations and support to our staff and management.
What You Can Expect:
- Project Involvement: Lead and participate in special projects and system improvements.
- System Mastery: Develop and maintain knowledge of system support tools like SAP, E-sourcing, and Business Intelligence.
- Industry Insights: Gain exposure to suppliers, products, services, and industry trends.
- Training: Attend and participate in training across different areas of the function.
- Analytical Development: Demonstrate your ability to excel in an analytical role or as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in SAP, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and statistical forecasting tools.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
