About the role
Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting operations, including AP/AR and expense tracking
- Assist with invoice processing, vendor payments, and reimbursement reviews
- Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, Engineering)
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Participate in process improvements and system implementation (e.g., ERP, expense systems)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP is a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Interest in technology or startup environment is a plus
Salary Range
$35 - $45 / hour
