About the role
This internship is based at our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont. You will join our team to help sustain and run the manufacturing floor. Your primary focus is resolving equipment and process issues. You will lead a specific intern project from start to finish and present your results at an end of summer poster session.
What you'll do
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to support throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification and roadmaps.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize manufacturing processes to meet performance, yield, and reliability targets.
- Perform all activities in a safe manner while following environmental, health, and security requirements.
What you'll need
- Sophomore status at the time of application.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
