Role Description
This is a remote internship role for an AI Technical Content Writer. The intern will research AI-related topics and GAOTek's technical products, then develop clear, accurate, and engaging technical content such as blog posts, product descriptions, white papers, and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include structuring complex AI and engineering concepts into accessible language, aligning content with SEO and marketing guidelines, and collaborating with technical and marketing teams to ensure factual accuracy and consistency. The role may also involve assisting with content for virtual ICT summits, including speaker briefs, session summaries, and promotional materials. Interns are expected to manage deadlines, incorporate feedback, and maintain an organized content workflow.
Qualifications
- Solid technical writing skills, with the ability to explain AI, engineering, or ICT concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to interpret technical documentation, academic papers, and product specifications.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data science, or related fields; interest in fiber optics, telecom, or engineering products is an asset.
- Basic understanding of digital content practices, such as SEO, online publishing, and content management tools.
- Excellent command of written English and attention to detail, including grammar, structure, and formatting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience with technical blogs, documentation, or academic writing is beneficial, even in a project or academic setting.
