Job Description
Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints involving management reporting systems. Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Designs, develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system, and the ability to modify the system, with skills in Java/Oracle/IMS/DB2/Unix/JDBC to analyze/design/develop/implement/test systems & applications on Android platform.
Requirements
- Requires U.S. Masters Degree/foreign degree equivalent in Science, Engineering, or Technology, or in the alternative, a Bachelors Degree/foreign degree equivalent plus 5 years of applicable employment experience.
- Any experience in Java, Oracle, IMS, DB2, Unix, and JDBC is acceptable.
- Must have legal authority to permanently work in the United States.
