About the Role
We're looking for an intern who enjoys building mobile apps and wants hands-on experience shipping real projects for both Android and iOS. We don't care whether you reach for native or cross-platform tools, we care that you pick the right approach for the job and are curious about why. This is a learning-focused role, so you don't need to tick every box. Curiosity and a willingness to dig in matter most.
What you'll be doing
- Helping build and improve mobile apps using whatever fits the problem best native (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android, Swift/SwiftUI for iOS) or cross-platform (Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter, React Native)
- Working on features for both Android and iOS, and helping us choose the most efficient path to ship on both
- Testing, fixing bugs, and polishing the user experience
- Helping prepare apps for release and getting them into the app stores
- Collaborating with the team on ideas, designs, and code reviews
Skills that would help
- Some experience writing mobile apps in any modern stack : Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, React Native, or similar (school projects, side projects, or past work all count)
- Familiarity with a mobile IDE (Android Studio, Xcode, or your tool of choice) and basic app architecture (MVVM, MVI, or similar)
- A bit of experience actually deploying or publishing an app
- Comfort with APIs, working with data, and connecting an app to a backend
- Knowing your way around Git
- Bonus: exposure to more than one platform or framework, and a sense of the trade-offs between native and cross-platform
Nice to have (totally optional)
- An app you've published or a portfolio/GitHub to share
- Interest in Database
- Experience with testing or CI/CD
