What You'll Do BCGPlatinion's Cybersecurity team works at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and digital risk. We advise BCGclients in making critical technology decisions—from strategy and architecture to cloud, products, data and AI—while ensuring cybersecurity and resilience are built into those decisions. We also help clients address cybersecurity-specific challenges including strategy, transformation, security architecture, risk, and resilience.

They contribute actively to teams, seek feedback, and rapidly build expertise in new topics. You’re Good At: Breaking down ambiguous technology and cybersecurity questions into structured analyses. Conducting research and analysis and synthesizing findings into clear recommendations.
Understanding how business objectives translate into technology choices and how those choices create cybersecurity and digital-risk implications. Analyzing technology environments across areas such as cloud, software, data, AI, products, and enterprise technology. Applying foundational cybersecurity concepts to real-world technology and business problems.
Developing clear written materials and communicating findings to BCG and client teams. Working collaboratively across different technical and business perspectives. Learning new technology and cybersecurity concepts quickly and applying them to unfamiliar problems.
What You’ll Bring You’ll Bring: Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data/AI, business, or another relevant field. Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation; graduating between December 2027 and July 2028. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure unfamiliar problems, work with incomplete information, and develop evidence-based conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong curiosity about how technology enables business strategy and how cybersecurity and digital risk affect technology decisions. A practical foundation in cybersecurity concepts, developed through coursework, projects, internships, research, certifications, or other relevant experience.
Familiarity with modern technology environments such as cloud, software development, data and AI, digital products, or enterprise technology. Ability to work collaboratively in teams, take ownership of assigned work, and seek feedback to improve quickly. H…
