Where You'll Make a Difference
- Conduct research projects in areas such as microbial strain construction and protein engineering.
- Apply high-throughput screening techniques to accelerate discovery.
- Work with cell culture systems to support experimental workflows.
- Explore biocatalysis and crystallography for innovative solutions.
- Develop analytical methods, including mass spectrometry.
- Participate in fermentation and bioprocess development and optimization.
- Evaluate formulation materials and processes for improved performance.
- Document experimental results, analyze data, and present findings.
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to drive scientific progress.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least sophomore year and continuing education in the Fall.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques in relevant areas.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary scientific setting.
- Strong initiative and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Exceptional skills for bench-top experimental work and use of analytical instrumentation.
- Competence in documenting results, analyzing data, and communicating conclusions.
- Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work.
