About the role
Support the BI team in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data Assist in data product modeling in Databricks using internal and external business data Develop reports and solutions using BI tools such as Power BI and Power Automate Track key performance indicators and metrics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and gather requirements Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making Assist in automating reports and building data pipelines leveraging LLM capabilities Present findings and insights to team members and stakeholders
Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Must have completed at least 2 years of college coursework by the start of the internship Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or Thought Spot Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Basic understanding of database management and data structures Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly and concisely
Experience with large datasets and data visualization tools preferred Coding experience in SQL or Python advantageous Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus Knowledge of statistical analysis or machine learning techniques advantageous Core Competencies Demonstrates strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and Databricks for data visualization and reporting.
