Camp Nurse

Oversee health of all campers, staff, and volunteers at camp. Responsibilities include medication administration for campers, routine medical procedures, first aid, supporting training of seasonal staff in camper daily care as part of the healthcare team. Must be licensed in Texas as an RN or LVN. Enthusiasm for camp life and willingness to spend time outdoors will serve will benefit this position. Former camp experience not required. Responsible to Healthcare Supervisor and Camp Director.

Life as a Staff Member

Room and Board

All staff are provided with a twin sized bed, a bedside table, and a closet. Most staff live in cabins with campers. 3 meals a day are provided during sessions and on the weekends food will be provided for the staff to prepare for themselves. All staff have access to free laundry facilities and wireless internet.
