What You Will Do: Learn requirements capture and peer review for AMS cockpit avionics for CH-53K program Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases). Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers What You Will Learn: The full experience of platform systems engineering activities from initial requirements capture all the way to supporting fielded products Effective use of systems engineering tools such as DOORs, JIRA, JAMA, and the ALM tools suite

Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer: Familiarity with Agile methodologies Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. Relocation Eligibility The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
