Role We are seeking a creative and resourceful student with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry to work with the scientists on our protein sciences team. They will be responsible for performing a range of techniques including cell culture, protein expression, purification, conjugation and analytics, cloning and plasmid preparation. This is a hands-on, laboratory position at a small and rapidly growing biotech start-up.

Key Responsibilities Maintain mammalian cell culture lines Perform transient transfections and affinity-based protein purifications Execute assays such as BLI (quantitation, binding kinetic, epitope binning), SPR and other characterization methods like SDS-PAGE and analytical HPLC (SEC, HIC) Conduct molecular biology tasks such as PCR, plasmid purification, and sequence analysis Execute antibody conjugation experiments to support in vitro and in vivo studies Support antibody discovery and bi-specific antibody engineering efforts Communicate results & maintain accurate records using an electronic lab notebook (ELN) Required Professional

Experience & Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field at Northeastern University. Preferred Professional

Experience & Qualifications Biology/biochemistry lab experience in academic or industry settings is a plus

Experience with protein expression and purification is a plus

Experience with antibody conjugation is a plus
