About the role
The Community Resources for Stability (CRS) Intern will support the Housing Stability Programs Manager, the CRS Programs and Data Specialist, and the CRS Director. You will assist with special projects, including data entry for client surveys and the ongoing development of the Case Worthy database. This role provides an opportunity to learn about the systems, databases, policies, and procedures used by human services case managers. You will also participate in team meetings and training sessions.
What you'll do
- Transfer client paperwork to digital files on SharePoint.
- Update case manager training materials to ensure they reflect current CRS policies and procedures.
- Enter client survey and services information into various databases.
- Help improve the functionality of the Case Worthy database.
- Set up and maintain paper or electronic filing systems, including attendance records and correspondence.
- Operate office equipment like copiers and phone systems.
- Handle other duties as assigned based on program needs.
What you'll need
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program, such as Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn client database systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff and volunteers.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to legally required exemptions.
