About the role
Company Description
Young Kim for Congress offers internship opportunities for college and high school students interested in participating in a local congressional campaign for Congresswoman Young Kim's reelection in California's 40th Congressional District. The campaign emphasizes learning how congressional elections work, why they matter, and how voter engagement shapes outcomes, making this internship a strong complement to government, politics, or social science coursework. Interns typically work from the campaign office in Mission Viejo, with flexible scheduling and hybrid options available as permitted. The team can also present information about the internship directly to classes or student groups to answer questions and provide more context. Many interns experience increased confidence in social interaction and public speaking through hands-on campaign activities and voter engagement.
