About us The Alchemy is a licensed cannabis retailer with two Manhattan locations, in Chelsea and the Flatiron District. We approach retail the way a fashion or design brand would — store environment, product photography, and campaigns all matter to us.
About the role We're hiring a Creative Content Intern to help produce visual content across photography, video, and in-store design. You'll work directly with the founders on a small team, with real ownership of projects from concept through execution. This is a hands-on production role, not a scheduling or community management role.
You should expect to leave with finished work for your portfolio. What you'll work on: - Editorial photo shoots - Luxury product photography - Window displays - In-store installations and visual merchandising - Customer interviews - Fashion-inspired campaign concepts - Short-form brand films - Event activations - Experimental AI-generated art - Creative direction on assigned projects - Qualifications - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design, photography, film, fashion, or marketing program (Parsons, FIT, SVA, Pratt, NYU and equivalent), or an equivalent portfolio - Portfolio demonstrating photography, video, or design work - Comfortable operating a camera and lighting basics - Able to edit short-form video - Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or comparable tools - Must be 21 or older (required for licensed cannabis retail in New York State) - Must be able to work in person in Manhattan What we offer: - Paid internship - Academic credit available on request - Portfolio credit and rights to publish your work - Direct mentorship from the founders
