Role
We are looking for an experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to provide 1:1 (group) instruction to students in Burbank, CA.
Key Details
- In-Person instruction on-campus
- Students: Grades 9-12 (mild-moderate cases)
- Teach up to 40 hours per week
- Earn from $65-100 per hour
- Case Management/IEP Support experience are highly preferred
Requirements
- Ability to commute to/from Burbank, CA REQUIRED
- DHH Certified REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
- Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Might be asked to clear FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person
- Negative TB Test Result
