Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Design Intern / Apprentice to support our design team. This is an entry-level, highly manual support role perfect for a current fashion student or recent graduate looking to learn the ropes of the apparel industry from the ground up. You will assist with daily operational tasks, help manage sample workflows, and gain a deep, foundational understanding of the end-to-end design and production process flow.
What You'll Do
- Assist with pulling, organizing, and tracking samples, including prototypes, reference garments, and fabric standards.
- Provide hands-on assistance across the design department for daily tasks, organizing the design room, and prepping for meetings.
- Learn and help maintain the flow of seasonal collections by tracking development status and updates.
- Assist in setting up for fittings, milestone meetings, and presentations.
- Help gather market insights, images, and inspiration to support the creation of seasonal concept boards.
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in a Fashion Design (or related) degree program, or a recent graduate looking for entry-level experience.
- 0–1 years of experience; a strong desire to learn the product development process.
- Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) and Microsoft Excel is a plus, but a willingness to learn is key.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle manual tasks efficiently.
- A proactive team player who is comfortable asking questions and taking direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine excitement for contemporary apparel style
