Digital Editor Intern

Role

We are looking for 1-2 humor/culture/meme digital editors. These individuals won't produce original content, but they will report on those who do.

Key Accountabilities

• Each week write about, and provide links to, the best social media posts, the best tit-for-tat exchanges, the best video clips and more
• Cover political advertising as another viable topic
• Keep us informed as to what's going on – it's hard to keep up!

Position Details

This is an unpaid internship. Preference to those who may get college credit for working with us (we currently have some interns who received school approval for this opportunity).

Time Commitment

Looking for a commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

Work Environment

We are completely remote and use Slack, Google Drive and Zoom to communicate. The Media & Marketing team holds weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 3:30pm PST.

Required Skills and Experience

• Basic experience with digital editing or reporting via social media
• You want to be part of a team of mission-focused people working hard to rebuild public trust in the media
