Giorbello is a fast-growing e-commerce business specializing in unique, high-quality tiles. We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team player to join us and help support the ongoing success of our e-commerce operations and expansion.

Position Overview

As an E-commerce Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities related to our online store and facilitating business diversification. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are particularly excited about candidates who bring experience with AI-driven efficiency tools and/or a background in e-commerce or digital marketing. Strong performers will be considered for a full-time position with visa sponsorship upon completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Data Management: Create, update, and maintain product listings, ensuring all product information is accurate, detailed, and optimized.
  • Content Creation and Optimization: Develop compelling product descriptions, titles, and meta tags that enhance search engine rankings and conversion rates. Leverage AI tools to improve content efficiency and output quality.
  • Marketing & Sales Support: Support promotional campaigns, resolve listing issues, and address customer inquiries related to product information.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability, timely restocking, and discontinuation of obsolete items.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of product listings and inventory to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with e-commerce platform standards and policies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform regular market and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and new opportunities to enhance the product portfolio and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience or coursework in e-commerce, digital marketing, supply chain, or operations is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar) to improve workflow efficiency is a strong plus.
  • Background or interest in e-commerce operations or digital/performance marketing is ideally sought.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

What We Offer

  • This is a 10-week internship.
  • Conversion Opportunity: Based on performance, top interns will be considered for a full-time offer at $42,500/year upon completion of the internship.
