Responsibilities

Your work may involve many aspects of applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering. Specific duties are subject to our business unit objectives.

Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with: Applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, etc.
  • Experience with: CAD software (AutoCAD or other drafting programs).
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands‑on experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Hands‑on project experience.
  • Design and test of Avionics (electrical, mechanical)
  • Electrical systems with a focus on reliability and efficiency
  • Circuit Design
  • Radiation Effects
  • Robotics and motion control
  • C, C++, Matlab, Simulink

Compensation

Base Pay Range for CA applicants is $87,816.00 - $ Other site ranges may differ
