We specialize in high‑performance embedded audio, video, and data distribution systems for private jet aircraft and are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to help enhance passenger experiences.
Key Details
- Location: Full‑time onsite in Kirkland, WA
- Work Days and Hours: 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday (flexible 4x10 or 5x8 schedule)
- Duration: 8‑12 weeks
- Compensation: $20‑$30 per hour
- Work Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen authorized to work in the United States
- Position under Innovative Advantage Inc., part of Heads Up Technologies
What You'll Do
- Engage in an embedded systems project that plays a crucial role in enhancing passenger experiences
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and applications teams to deliver a unified customer experience
- Develop, test, and refine software solutions that are reliable and impactful
- Support the company's commitment to delivering dependable products and exceptional customer support
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in junior or senior year or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience (entry‑level)
- Relevant coursework in embedded systems, operating systems, software development, or networking
- Programming experience in C/C++ and Python
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and time‑management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience demonstrating responsibility and initiative in technical or non‑technical work
Desired Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with bare metal, real‑time OS (RTOS), or embedded Linux
- Prior experience with debugging tools, version control (Git), and hardware/software integration
