Entry Level Production Associate Retread Tire Technician Paid Training- Portland

**Position** Entry Level Production Associate: Retread Tire Technician (Paid Training) - Portland, OR

**Compensation** Starting Pay: $22.50 hourly + weekly pay with overtime opportunities and full benefits.

**Location** 8515 N Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR

**About the Role** As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road. In our retread plants you will support the retread process through various stages:

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Repair the casing using rubber cement or a patch before applying new tread
• Build the tire by applying new tread
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application
• Conduct final inspection to assess a safe and quality product

**Qualifications** - Minimum age 18 years - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future - Basic computer skills

**Preferred Qualifications** - High school diploma or GED preferred - Previous experience in manufacturing environment, general labor or entry level
