Role
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at Schneider Electric's Columbia, Missouri location for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, onsite position. The ideal candidate must be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

Key Accountabilities
As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis
- Development of site-specific safety trainings
- Digitization of EHS documents
- Projects around top 5 hazards
- Lead 5s safety initiatives
- Ergonomic assessments
- Behavior-Based safety
- Environmental sustainability champion
- Site Green team champion
- Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

Qualifications
This position may be a good fit for you if:
- Working towards Science, Engineering or Safety & Environmental degree
- Junior or Senior standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Have experience with data analytics
Compensation
For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is $22.50 to $27 per hour. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
