Role
Under immediate supervision, the Environmental Intern will assist with the completion of environmental projects in a timely and accurate manner within the specified budget. Primary duties will support inspections, surveys, and monitoring activities for Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Geosciences projects.
Key Accountabilities
The Environmental Intern will be expected to conduct site visits at project sites throughout the Greater San Antonio area and assist in completing field inspection reports, laboratory testing and processing, data entry, artifact/sample analysis, and general reporting duties, as required.
Qualifications
- Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and possess excellent communication, organizational, and judgment skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently at a job site
