2026 Fall Information Systems Intern/Co-Op IT Co-op Positions – DeRidder, LA Paper Mill

The DeRidder facility is a Brown Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

Principal Accountabilities

• Assist with help desk tasks: basic end‑user support, deal with any Information Technology related issues – hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network.
• Assist with building and deploying computers – prepare computers, including setting up new computers, clearing data off previously used computers, and preparing them for use by another user.
• Assist with network documentation – labeling physical network taps and creating drawings and documentation.
• Assist in documenting issues and fixes.
• Inventory and document IT equipment.
• Lifting and transporting equipment of various weight.
• Clean workstations of malicious software, such as viruses, spyware, etc.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have completed freshman year of college.
• Must be pursuing a 4‑year degree in Computer Science.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juniors and Seniors in college are preferred.

Salary Range: $30.00 hr. for Seniors, $29.00 hr. for Juniors, $27.00 hr. for Sophomores
