About the role

Job Description We are looking for an energetic individual to perform basic accounting clerk duties in the Family History Department.

Duties will include reviewing and processing invoices, working with members of the accounting staff, department managers and outside vendors to ensure that payments are made accurately and timely.

Responsibilities Assist Sr Accounting Clerk over RootsTech responsibilities including: Processing vendor set-ups Downloading/saving/formatting of daily reports Organizing/Filing of contracts received for RootsTech Help with payments before and after RootsTech Updating spreadsheets for Speakers/Keynotes/Sponsors Assist Accounting Clerk in the following: Process invoices for camera click operators daily Process the DHL and FedEx invoices weekly Process the Oral Gen Project Invoices weekly Ensure that all invoices are properly coded and approved by the appropriate authorized manager. Work Location will primarily be at the Church Office Building in SLC Qualifications Working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Proficiency at a Beginner Level with Excel. Accuracy emphasis in a high-volume environment Self-Starter Able to quickly learn programs and processes.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Temple Recommend worthy. Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.

They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
