TRADE SHOW INTERN
Edite Showroom: Coterie, New York, September 8-11
Step out of the classroom and onto the trade show floor. Experience the commercial side of fashion firsthand as International designer collections are presented to leading US retailers, department stores, and independent boutiques. As a Trade Show Intern, you will join our team during market week to assist with booth operations, visual merchandising, and client support. This position offers direct exposure to B2B fashion operations, wholesale strategy, and industry networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual Merchandising & Styling: Assist with booth setup, sample steaming, garment display, and floor layout strategy to effectively showcase brand collections.
- Event Operations: Support daily booth logistics, sample tracking, collateral management, and post-show breakdown.
- Showroom & Client Support: Greet arriving buyers, manage appointment flow, and assist account executives during sales presentations.
- On-Site Coordination: Ensure inventory, display racks, and workspace remain organized and presentation-ready in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Qualifications
- Active interest in fashion management, wholesale sales, buying, or visual merchandising.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical event tasks, including setup, moving sample racks, and garment prep.
- Professional communication skills and comfortable engaging with clients and industry guests.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to stay focused during high-energy trade events.
