Summer 2023 Internship Program
Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA) offers summer 2023 paid Internship positions designed to make a real-life impact on the millions of customers who embrace our products. RAA’s 10-week Internship program will provide you with tangible and involved problem-solving situations from the start, hands-on experience with creating the product, exposure to working directly with industry customers, and opportunities to exchange ideas with our top-level strategists, the RAA executive committee ~Truly an entrepreneurial experience. One of the world’s leading fashion clothing and lifestyle accessories companies, RAA operates a portfolio of 40+ brands across all channels of distribution, including Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Columbia Sportswear. Interns will work alongside the minds who design the #1 dress pant brand in North America at our Dallas-based Haggar office and craft the #1 belt and wallet with our Randa Accessories teams In New York and Chicago. Overview
In this 10-week specialized program, you will be exposed to Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions. You will assist the FP&A team and be exposed to the fundamentals of e-commerce and wholesale business.
Finance Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with financial modeling
- Assist with special projects
- Partner with general accounting to investigate variances
- Learn the fundamentals of forecasting and projections for our various company divisions
- Prep and organize information for executive summaries
- Participate and collaborate in meetings and projects
- Ask questions and communicate needs
- Work in-office Monday-Friday, Friday being a half-day
Project
Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change.
Requirements
- Business, Finance or related majors
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with Powerpoint, Word, and Excel preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
