Supervisor: Name: Frances Dalis
Title: Director, Psychological Services Center
Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):
Working closely with the PSC Leadership this assistant is a liaison between Graduate Student Therapists (GSTs) for therapy and testing cases.
Duties and Principal Responsibilities:
- Meets with students prior to testing supervision
- Does all intakes for therapy and testing cases and assigns the case to graduate student therapist
- Attends weekly PSC meeting and staff meetings.
Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program
Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Doctoral level student in good standing who successfully completed a minimum of one year practicum training.
Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate
Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/1/26 End Date: 7/24/27
Evaluation procedures and schedules: Evaluated in December, May and July.
