Now Hiring - Day & Night 12 hour Shifts

We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA I/GNAs) for our Long-Term Care departments with both day and night shift opportunities available.

Openings Are Available In

  • Hall 1 - Sub-Acute Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care
  • Hall 2 - Long-Term Care
  • Burk 1 - Pulmonary Long-Term Care
  • Burk 2 - Ventilator Care Unit
  • Households - Person-Centered Long-Term Care

What You'll Do

As a CNA I/GNA you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Obtain and document vital signs and report changes in condition
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using Hoyer lifts and specialty equipment as needed
  • Support resident safety and infection prevention practices
  • Document accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents and their families

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Current Maryland CNA I Certification (formerly GNA under the Maryland Board of Nursing)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Completion of annual nursing skills competencies

Preferred

  • Less than one year of healthcare experience (newly certified CNA I candidates are encouraged to apply)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, Hoyer lifts, specialty beds, communication devices, and electronic documentation systems such as HealthStream
