Role
MTSI is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology student for a cooperative educational (Coop) position in our Huntsville, AL office.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the day-to-day lab related activities of the Army Field Integration team.
- Be trained to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
- Review existing technical solutions for improvements and efficiencies of our software modules.
- Help perform analysis of system operations and troubleshooting of operating systems/database management and network systems.
- Utilize analytical data to identify operational trends and implement escalation and resolution techniques
Qualifications
- Full time student, majoring in Information Technology or related degree.
- Initiative, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Clearance Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
