Instructional Student Assistants for Physics and Engineering Position Overview The Department of Physics & Engineering is seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants for its programs. The department is seeking qualified students for grading and/or lab/activity support as Instructional Student Assistant for courses that are appropriate in our curriculum in any given semester. Students need to apply each semester.

Fall 2026 August 17, 2026 – December 19, 2026 Spring 2027 January 20, 2027 – May 26, 2027 Hours 0-20 hours per week. Job

Duties may include the following, but will be dependent upon the specific course to which the instructional student assistant will be assigned, as well as upon the specific needs of the faculty member in charge of the course: Provide instructional support to assigned instructors by grading papers in a variety of courses or facilitating group work and discussions. Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with the appropriate faculty member. Department’s website management.
