The position provides basic administrative and operational support for a specific program within a department. The position supports the planning and daily operations of the program.
Specific
Duties & Responsibilities Provide support for outreach activities and internal events; assist with preparation of materials, set-up and breakdown, and participate as needed at events and activities. Assist with data entry, report production, and basic analysis of program results. Assist with development and distribution of program communications.
Respond to or elevate questions and provide customer service through email and by phone. Contact service personnel or other resources for program needs. Monitor supply inventory and order supplies.
Operate and coordinate the servicing of office equipment. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above Review and edit PowerPoint presentations for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and overall quality.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of audio recordings to ensure clarity, accuracy, and synchronization with presentation content. Identify, document, and implement revisions to instructional materials. Assist with proofreading and finalizing training modules prior to publication.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure all content meets established quality standards and project deadlines. Support the successful completion and delivery of the Intellectual Property (IP) training module project. Minimum
Qualifications High school diploma or graduation equivalent. Six months of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a project team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Technical

Salary Range: $15.80 - $22.80 HRLY ($500.00 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.) Employee group: Casual / On Call Schedule: M-F, 6 hrs weekly FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Remote Department name: Academic Affairs Ugrad Personnel area: Whiting School of Engineering Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Johns Hopkins University’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education/training and other qualifications.

Experience Equivalency Please refer to the job description above to see which forms of equivalency are permitted for this position. If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines: JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis.
For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
