Some of your responsibilities include: Mechanical engineering students will be assisting with design and layout of ductwork and related mechanical equipment such as motors, fans and pumps for new and existing buildings (mechanical) Electrical engineering students will execute electrical designs in accordance with the Electrical Department’s Procedures and Standards and specific client standards where applicable. (electrical) Fire Protection students will assist with layout and design of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT. (fire protection) Working with Engineers on commercial, government, healthcare, and scientific buildings Will utilize Revit for 3D designs and Navisworks to check interferences May perform mathematical calculations and assist with equipment research and specifications May visit client sites and attend walk-throughs, punch lists or meeting with architects, owners, and subcontractors Other duties as assigned Essential Skill requirements: Strong analytical ability Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of LEED and sustainable practices helpful Advanced knowledge of Revit given priority Should be going into Junior or Senior year of University/College We are an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion & diversity in the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
