Intern, Global Accounting

Constellation Brands is seeking an Intern, Global Accounting to support our international accounting team in the dynamic beverage manufacturing industry. In this role, you’ll assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations across multiple global entities. You will help prepare financial reports, gather and validate data, and support internal control and SOX documentation.

Working in a collaborative, performance-driven culture, you’ll gain exposure to ERP systems, multi-currency transactions, and corporate accounting best practices while contributing to process improvements and special projects. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end global close activities Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Help prepare financial reports and schedules for internal stakeholders and audits Gather and validate data from international entities in multiple currencies Assist with SOX and internal control documentation and testing Perform ad hoc financial analysis and research on accounting issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance and operations Maintain organized, accurate documentation in ERP and reporting tools Support process improvement and standardization projects Participate in learning sessions on corporate and international accounting General ledger accounting Financial reporting Account reconciliation Excel and data analysis ERP systems familiarity (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) Multi-currency and consolidation concepts GAAP knowledge Internal controls and SOX awareness Written and verbal communication Time management and organization Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Progress toward CPA or equivalent certification preferred Coursework in intermediate accounting and financial reporting Eligibility to work in the U.S.
