Responsibilities Summer Interns will be assigned to work on a team based on the availability of opportunities, the needs of the business, and the matching of skills and career interests. Specific responsibilities for each assignment will be discussed with candidates selected for an interview. The D&T teams include: Enterprise Software Engineering & Solutions Information Security Enterprise Data & AI Office Enterprise (RISE) Technology Architecture, Strategy, & Cloud
Experience D&T Transformation Site Reliability What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) starting May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027. Be willing to work onsite at the Delta headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Some teams may offer hybrid work arrangements You must be an Undergraduate student with a 3.0 GPA or higher You must be a Senior or a rising Senior with a Graduation date of Summer 2027, Fall 2027, or Spring 2028 Your major must be Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering (Systems, Industrial, Electrical), Management Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Operations Research, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Business Management, or a related field Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) ✅ STRONGLY PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience or knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and tools; experience with AI-assisted problem solving and workflow automation; familiarity with frameworks/tools such as Kiro ; experience with data analysis, dashboards, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); ability to design, configure, or support AI agents to improve productivity and business outcomes is a plus. Some roles require familiarity with Python and the ability to code, familiarity with hardware, or familiarity with the structure of Development teams/squads, sprints, and taking stories off backlogs. Have the ability to digest large amounts of data and information and succinctly explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on difficult to solve challenges faced by our customers Have a passion for working on technologies such as Mobile apps, Enterprise Web apps, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence Be interested in accepting a full time offer after graduation if an offer is extended ✅ DESIRED SOFT SKILLS: Analytical thinking , emerging leader, good written and verbal communication, strong work ethic, ability to work in a team setting and individually, have a safety and security mindset ✅ ADDITIONAL BEST PRACTICES: As a college co-op, you should be able to listen and learn from people with many different perspectives, be flexible and able to handle shifting priorities that come from the needs of the business, be high performing and interested in driving for results, and be willing to be mentored as a method to grow and improve.
